April 25/26, 2026 - 7th edition

Thanks to everyone, thanks to each of you!

To close out a seventh edition that exceeded every expectation, it would come naturally to talk about “numbers”: how many bibs, how many runners (only 6 short of two thousand!!!), how many T-shirts, how many medals, how many prizes, how many volunteers, how many barriers, how many meters of tape, how many signs, how many tables, how many gazebos, how much water, how many bananas, how many apples…

The report could be endless!

But it’s not numbers that measure an event and stay in the heart.

Numbers are just numbers.

They change from one day to the next, also because the weather always calls the shots and because an exponential rise in registrations over the last four days can overturn any estimate and any forecast, however hard we try to predict everything down to the smallest detail.

Numbers are just numbers.

And even when saying thank you, you always risk forgetting someone, and that would be a shame!

The figure that matters most to us, the one we love to take home after this truly “sparkling” seventh edition of EcoRun Varese, is only that of the many, so many smiles in a square in celebration, under Varese’s turquoise sky on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026.
