The answers to the following questions are current as of December 2025 and may be subject to change over the course of the event, especially regarding the start times of the running races.
Please review them periodically and in the run-up to the event.
WHEN DOES ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSE?
Online registration at www.join.endu.net/entry?edition=92318 will close at midnight on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
All athletes who have registered online will receive an email as an official "confirmation letter" by Saturday, April 25, 2026.
It is not necessary to print a paper copy of the email; a digital copy can be presented on your mobile phone to collect your bib.
CAN I REGISTER ON-SITE?
Exceptionally, registration will still be possible at the Varese Chamber of Commerce Info Point in Piazza Monte Grappa 5 during the event weekend:
Saturday, April 25, 2026 - from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Sunday, April 26, 2026 - from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, making sure to respect the start time of your race indicated in the dedicated FAQ.
WHERE DO I PICK UP MY BIB?
Your bib, race pack, and technical t-shirt can be picked up at the Info Point during the event weekend:
Saturday, April 25, 2026 - from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Sunday, April 26, 2026 - from 7:00 AM, making sure to respect the race start times indicated in the dedicated FAQ (check for updates).
Showing your registration confirmation email on your phone will make it easier to find your registration.
The race bib includes a timing chip, is strictly personal, is non-transferable, and must be attached to the t-shirt using the appropriate pins.
CAN I DELEGATE OR BE DELEGATED TO PICK UP MY BIB?
Of course: download the authorization form HERE to pick up the bib and race pack for other runners registered for one of the running races, also at the Info Point.
IS BAG STORAGE AVAILABLE?
The Chamber of Commerce is providing one or more spaces for bag storage.
On Sunday morning, from 7:00 a.m. until a time reasonably compatible with the start of your race (competitive or non-competitive), you can leave a sports bag or backpack containing post-race change clothing. Attach the numbered sticker included in your bib envelope to the bag.
Your bag must be collected at the end of the race from the same location no later than 2:00 p.m.
While we will take the utmost care in storing your bag, the organization will not be responsible for any theft or loss of personal belongings. Therefore, we discourage you from leaving money, personal documents, cell phones, etc. in your bag.
WHO RECEIVES THE MEDAL?
The participation medal is reserved for finishers of COMPETITIVE RACES.

The medal for this 6th edition, in the EcoRun Varese style, will highlight a notable building in the city.

21100 Varese HALF MARATHON (21 km competitive FIDAL national race)

HAPPY TEN (10 km non-competitive race)

During the Happy FIVE, it will be possible to plog, i.e., collect trash along the route. Volunteers from the Ama&Vivi Plastic Free association will be at the entrance to the Estensi Gardens and will distribute gloves and bags to participants, who will be able to clean up the park of anything thrown on the paths and flowerbeds.

When registering, you can choose to join the group running in memory of our dear friend Franca.
ARE NON-COMPETITIVE RACE RACE OPEN TO CHILDREN?
Participation in the HAPPY TEN and HAPPY FIVE free-paced races is free for children up to age 8. However, a bib, race pack, or T-shirt are not included.
HAPPY FIVE with PLOGGING: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
During the Happy FIVE (a 5km run or walk at your own pace), participants will be able to plog, or collect trash along the route.
Volunteers from the Ama&Vivi Plastic Free association will be at the entrance to the Estensi Gardens and will distribute gloves and bags to participants, who will be able to clean up the park and remove any debris thrown on the paths and flowerbeds.
ARE THERE REFRESHMENTS ALONG THE ROUTE?
Intermediate and final refreshment stops are planned. Water and salts will be distributed every 5 km:
5th kilometer: CASBENO - Viale Ariberto da Intimiano
10th kilometer: AVIGNO - Via Astico
15th kilometer: MASNAGO - Via Francesco Crispi
The FINAL REFRESHMENT STATION will be set up in Piazza Monte Grappa, accessible via a cordoned-off corridor.
IS THERE A REFRESHMENT AVAILABLE FOR CELIAC SUFFERERS?
This year, AIC Lombardia APS will also offer athletes with celiac disease a refreshment bag with gluten-free products. You can reserve one by filling out the form at the link that will be published soon.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FINISH?
The finish line for all races is scheduled for Piazza Monte Grappa (at the beginning of Corso Matteotti).
Here, the finishers of the competitive races will receive their medals, personalized once again this year with a notable Varese building.
The awards ceremony for the OVERALL finishers and the largest number of clubs will take place on the stage set up on Via Bernascone, under the Chamber of Commerce, at 11:00 a.m. (subject to updates).
All other category awards will be presented thereafter.
TOILETS
Six chemical toilets will be available throughout the weekend under the colonnade of the Chamber of Commerce on Via G. Bernascone, near the Info Point.
Other restrooms are located:
· Opposite the entrance to the Civic Tower, under the portico of Piazza Monte Grappa
· At the multi-storey car park of the Le Corti shopping center
· Under the portico of the Town Hall (Via Sacco 5), outside the registry office
· Behind the hornbeam grove of the Estensi Gardens
HOW DO I GET TO THE CITY CENTER ON RACE DAY?
From the A8 MILANO-LAGHI motorway, take the penultimate exit, AZZATE-BUGUGGIATE, and follow the signs for Varese, going up Via Corridoni (Casbeno).
Last exit, VARESE CENTRO, on the left, take VIALE EUROPA, but do not take Largo Flaiano towards the city center.

WHICH ROADS WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC?
To allow the event to proceed, traffic restrictions will be in place in the Sportvillage area on SATURDAY and along the race route on SUNDAY morning, as specified in the Municipal Police orders that will be published as soon as they are issued.
