Run for Lake Varese - 3rd edition

A sports, wellness and local-area event, created for those who love to run, walk, breathe nature and feel part of a community that grows together.
Here we are at the third edition of the “Run for Lake Varese”,
an event open to everyone, with three different routes but one single direction:
to experience the lake with respect, energy and awareness.

Full lake loop
Fidal Regional Road Race COMPETITIVE
distance about 27.250 km along the cycle/pedestrian path of Lake Varese
clockwise loop with start and finish at the Lido della Schiranna
The race is reserved for athletes aged 20 and over registered with Fidal, Runcard, E.P.S. “Athletics” discipline, with an AGONISTIC medical certificate (Art. 5 D.M. 18/2/82) specific for ATHLETICS.
1st COMPETITIVE fee - until 31 July 2026 - € 25.00
The event’s signature route: the full cycle/pedestrian loop of Lake Varese.
A smooth course, set in greenery, alternating panoramic views, shaded stretches and passages that tell the story of the area.
It’s the ideal choice for those who want to test themselves, but also for those who simply wish to enjoy a complete, intense and refreshing experience.

NON-competitive run, NOT timed

clockwise loop with start and finish at the Lido della Schiranna
The run is reserved for athletes aged 18 and over with a COMPETITIVE medical certificate
(Art. 5 D.M. 18/2/82) specific for TRACK AND FIELD.
1st NON-COMPETITIVE fee - until 31 July 2026 - € 20.00
Same route, same view, but with a freer approach.
Here the stopwatch doesn’t matter: the journey does.
It’s designed for those who want to walk, run at their own pace, share the route with friends, colleagues, sports groups, or simply enjoy the lake without pressure.
A sustainable and inclusive way to experience a unique course.
FAMILY RUN 7 km
Fun run/walking event, non-competitive and at a free pace, open to everyone, no medical certificate required, with self-declaration of physical fitness for “non-competitive” sports activity.
Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult and those under 8 years of age participate free of charge, with no right to T-shirt and medal.
Fixed fee FAMILY RUN 7 km - € 10.00
A short, accessible route, perfect for families, children, informal groups and anyone who wants to take part with ease.
Seven kilometres of nature, smiles and movement, open to all ages and with no medical certificate.
It’s the ideal choice for those who want to be there, breathe in the event atmosphere and enjoy a morning of wellbeing together.

Run for Lake, in the spirit of EcoRun Varese, is more than a race:
it’s an invitation to get moving, to take care of yourself and the area, to build a network of people and associations who believe in the value of sport as a tool for well-being and inclusion.
